Our Mission
Adopt an Angel serves families, who would not otherwise be able to provide gifts for their children this holiday season. All gifts are contributed by generous residents and businesses across our local community. Your gift or donation will help a family in need.
Donations
Adopt an Angel relies heavily on individual donations & corporate sponsors. Because of the generosity of Summit County residents and business owners, the program continues to be a huge success and makes a difference for many families in Summit County.
Local Retailers
Local retailers display Christmas trees with ornaments, providing the age and gender of a child. When residents visit a participating retailer, they can select their “Angel” and buy a new age appropriate toy for the child on the ornament. Residents may then bring the new gifts to local fire, ambulance or police departments.
Our Giant Toy Factory
On December 15, 2011, we’ll transform the Silverthorne Pavilion into a toy factory, where thousands of gifts will be given to preapproved families & children. Santa’s helpers will be on hand to spread cheer & help families pick their gifts. Any remaining toys will be given to local nonprofits who work with kids.
